Sai Pallavi made her Bollywood debut opposite Junaid Khan in the recently released film, Ek Din. She will also be seen in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana along with Ranbir Kapoor. While the actress has received praise for Ek Din, she was initially not sure whether she would fit in. In a promotional video for Ek Din, she revealed that she told Aamir Khan at a premiere that she is a misfit for the role. She said, "I don't think I was meant to do this, and I think I am miscast. I feel so, I think it should have been a new person who had a little bit of flamboyance.
