Costa Rican National Police told ABC News that Malcolm drowned off the coast of Costa Rica. His official cause of death was asphyxia, police said.

Warner was best known for playing the son of Bill Cosby's character in The Cosby Show sitcom from the 1980s before moving on to other TV gigs.
