The Department of Justice has asked the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C. to detain without bond the man accused of attempting to assassinate Donald Trump at Saturday's White House Correspondents' Dinner. In court documents filed Wednesday, April 29, D.C. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro argued in a memorandum that alleged shooter Cole Tomas Allen's actions were "premeditated, violent, and calculated to cause death." Jeannine Pirro (right) asked for the court to detain Allen until his trial.
