The new Michael Jackson biopic, Michael, is breaking box office records, but there's at least one prominent critic who isn't buying the hype: the director of Leaving Neverland. Dan Reed, the filmmaker behind the HBO documentary that highlighted Wade Robson and James Safechuck's child s**-abuse allegations against the iconic singer, ripped the new film, calling out star Jaafar Jackson's performance as the King of Pop. "The first part of Michael as a child, I could kind of buy that," Dan told Variety. "But as soon as we go to the adult Jackson, played by his nephew Jaafar, that burst my bubble.
