After a wait of over two years, Subhash B has concluded a legal dispute with Shemaroo Entertainment, who had raised concerns about copyright infringement when he proposed a sequel to the much-loved film, Disco Dancer starring Mithun Chakraborty. The Bombay High Court, on August 12th, delivered a ruling in favour of Subhash, granting him permission to proceed with the film. Confirming that the Intellectual Property Rights for the movie have always been his, Subhash shared his thoughts with Midday, saying, "Disco Dancer is my creation.
