When Janai Norman announced she would be leaving Good Morning America in April 2026, her fans were shocked, to say the least. Norman revealed the news in a video posted via Instagram - one in which she said it breaks her heart that she never got the chance to say goodbye on the show. Several of her GMA and ABC costars quickly voiced their support in the comments section of her post. The network itself has not spoken out about Norman's exit.
