Alvin Brown, former Vice Chair of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), has filed a federal lawsuit against President Donald Trump in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Brown, a Democrat nominated by former President Joe Biden, alleged the Trump administration removed him and dozens of other Black officials across the government because of their race. Brown argued political differences alone could not explain his abrupt discharge in May 2025.
