Tina Fey says some of her Saturday Night Live political jokes didn't land on the right side of history. The former cast member and head writer made the admission during a History Talks event at Philadelphia's Kimmel Center. "There's jokes that I'm like, 'Oh yeah, I was on the wrong side of that,'" she said, according to Deadline. SNL writers tried to be 'fair' MEGA Fey joined SNL as a writer in 1997, rose to head writer by 1999 and became a cast member in 2000. She said fairness was always the goal, but admitted she sometimes fell short.
