As someone who is only 5'0", flat sandals are the last thing I'm going to grab when I'm running out the door. Instead, I gravitate towards something with a little height - and in the warmer weather, that almost always means a platform sandal. Both comfortable and functional, platform sandals help me feel just a little taller without the wobbly sensation some heeled shoes can give.
