A pickup truck driver who hit and killed a jogger in 2025 is reportedly suing the victim's estate for "emotional injuries." Anthony Miller died at the age of 37 when he was hit by a truck while on an early morning jog with his wife, Bailey Miller, in Lincoln, Nebraska, around 4:45 a.m. in August 2025, according to the Omaha World-Herald. After the driver, Gavin Maas, saw Bailey jogging, he moved over on the road to give her more space. However, he didn't see that Anthony was also running in the road and accidentally hit him, according to a police report viewed by the outlet.
