Asha Bhosle's final musical outing before her passing was an unexpected yet interesting collaboration with British virtual band Gorillaz on an experimental, India-inspired track. The band's album The Mountain (Parvat) featured the song The Shadowy Light, which carried Bhosle's distinctive voice. The song features musician Gruff Rhys, flautist Ajay Prasanna and sarod maestros Amaan and Ayaan Ali Bangash, along with Asha Bhosle. Now, Damon Albarn, frontman of the band, has shared a moving tribute honouring the late singer.
