President Donald Trump's legal team is vowing to press forward with its $10 billion defamation battle against The Wall Street Journal after a federal judge dismissed their lawsuit over a story about an alleged birthday letter to convicted offender Jeffrey Epstein. In a 17-page ruling, Judge Darrin Gayles of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida said the president came "nowhere close" to showing the paper acted with "actual malice" toward him, the standard required for a public figure to bring a defamation claim.
