Several celebrities and political figures gathered in large numbers at Shivaji Park on April 13 to attend the last rites of Asha Bhosle, which were held with full state honours. The legendary singer passed away at the age of 92 on April 12 at Breach Candy Hospital following multi-organ failure. Her mortal remains were later brought to her residence in Lower Parel, where family members, colleagues and fans arrived to pay their final respects. Asha Bhosle's granddaughter, Zanai Bhosle, was seen visibly emotional during the ceremony and broke down repeatedly.
