Asha Bhosle sadly passed away at the age of 92 on April 12, 2026. She was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital for age-related health complications. She was unwell for some time and was under close medical supervision in her final days.Asha Bhosle and RD Burman were married for 14 years. They tied the knot in 1980 and remained married until Burman's death on January 4, 1994. They lived separately but remained close. In one of Bhosle's interviews with Filmfare, she revealed that she does not live with Burman as she has to spend time with her kids. She said, "My children are my life.
