Iconic Auctioneers is auctioning off the late monarch's 2006 Range Rover 4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE (L322) in Tonga green as part of the Silverstone Festival in England on August 23.

"As with all vehicles of this nature, it is almost impossible to clarify early ownership with various authorities but pleasingly the car has been photographed extensively while in service. Notably Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II can be seen in attendance and departing the vehicle at the 2007 Royal Windsor Horse Show, verifying the provenance to be both genuine and distinguished," Iconic Auctioneers said in a statement. _ Despite being one of the most famous people in the world when she was alive, Queen Elizabeth II loved getting behind the wheel. Her Majesty owned numerous custom Rolls-Royce cars and grew to love driving herself after she volunteered for the ambulance corps and learned to fix trucks during World War II. A Jaguar Royal Claret hearse carried Elizabeth's body during her funeral in 2022. A modified Land Rover designed by Prince Philip himself, specifically for his funeral service, carried Elizabeth's late husband to his final resting place after he died. _ In 2024, Land Rover featured a collection of 10 of Queen Elizabeth II's personal cars in a touring exhibition that stopped by New York City's Rockefeller Center. The car company said in a statement, "Land Rover has enjoyed a long and ongoing association with the royal family and each model in the touring convoy has carried official duties or worked behind the scenes on the royal estates, including two of the earliest royal vehicles, the first Land Rover Series I, State Review vehicle and a Land Rover Series I [owned] by the Royal Family."
