A Wisconsin couple has been accused of starving their six children and leaving them little choice but to eat insects and dog food to stave off their severe hunger. Casey and Mary Cano have been charged with six counts each of repeated physical abuse of a child causing great bodily harm and child neglect, as well as one count of causing a child under 13 to view or listen to a sex act, according to court records. Prosecutors claimed that the couple repeatedly beat their children with belts at their home in Crawford County, Wisconsin, from January 2018 until April 2022, according to News 8 Now.
