The National Commission for Women (NCW) has intensified its investigation into the controversy around the song Sarke Chunar Teri from the upcoming film KD: The Devil. In an important update, the commission has granted Nora Fatehi a final opportunity to appear in person for a hearing scheduled for April 27, 2026. The NCW took suo motu cognisance of the song due to its allegedly objectionable and sexually explicit lyrics. During a recent hearing held on April 6, Nora was represented by her legal counsel.
