A woman says she saved a swimmer who stands accused of shooting his wife and another man to death outside of a Florida library in March - before she knew that he was wanted for double murder. Authorities are continuing their search for Jesse Scott Ellis following the brazen murders in Vero Beach on March 24. That morning, Ellis, 64, gunned down his wife, Stacie Ellis Mason, and Danny Ooley, a man she was potentially having an affair with, at the Indian River County Main Library, according to Vero Beach Police Chief David Currey, Us Weekly previously reported.
