A man is accused of killing his newborn - a 3-month-old baby girl - who was found not breathing by officers in Virginia, authorities said. Misael Lopez Gomez, of Bailey Crossroads in Fairfax County, is charged with second-degree murder and felony child abuse in connection with his daughter's death, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. The charges stem from Friday, March 27, when officers received a call about the infant being "unresponsive" in the 3400 block of Lake Street in Bailey's Crossroads, police said in a Tuesday, March 31, news release.
