More than 40 years after the infamous Texas Killing Fields murders took place, a man has been arrested in connection to the deaths of victims Laura Miller and Audrey Cook. James Elmore was booked on Tuesday, March 31, into the Galveston County Jail on charges of manslaughter and evidence tampering related to the deaths of Miller and Cook, according to KPRC. Miller and Cook were found dead in an abandoned oil field in League City, Texas, which are known as the Texas Killing Fields. Elmore, 61, has been accused of helping Clyde Edwin Hedrick hide Miller and Cook's remains, according to KPRC.
