The North American Aerospace Defense Command confirmed that F-16 fighter jets intercepted an aircraft that entered a Temporary Flight Restriction zone at about 1:15 p.m. Eastern Time. Air Force 2nd Lieutenant Tyler Turnmire said NORAD jets responded quickly and escorted the aircraft out of restricted airspace. The Secret Service confirmed the incident and said the president was never in danger.
