Sameerah Munshi, the Muslim member of President Donald Trump's White House Religious Liberty Commission, has resigned in protest of the U.S. war against Iran and the removal of conservative commissioner Carrie Prejean Boller for her beliefs about Palestine. Munshi, director of the Religious Freedom Institute, shared her decision in a Substack essay. She wrote, "My name is Sameerah Munshi. I am a Presidential appointee serving as advisor to the White House Religious Liberty Commission. Today, I am resigning over the injustice and atrocities of this administration at home and abroad.
