After more than one year on the run, a murder suspect from Delaware tried to escape police custody by climbing into the ceiling of the interrogation room during questioning. Shawn Wooten was arrested on Tuesday, March 17, for the November 2024 murder of 42-year-old Amie Bradley, according to a press release shared by the Delaware State Police. Wooten, 24, was identified as a person of interest in the case during an "extensive investigation," according to investigators. Authorities came to believe that Wooten strangled and attempted to sexually assault Bradley before her death.
