The investigation into former head football coach Sherrone Moore's conduct - and its subsequent fallout - came with a hefty price tag for the University of Michigan. The school has spent at least $6 million looking into Moore's behavior and the overall culture within the athletic department, according to records obtained by the Detroit Free Press. Moore, 40, was fired as head coach at the University of Michigan in December 2025 after it was discovered he had an "inappropriate relationship" with a football staff member.
