An investigation has been launched after a 12-year-old girl in Connecticut was found dead inside of her home. The Enfield Police Department announced in a statement via Facebook on Wednesday, March 18, that officials responded to a report of an "unresponsive female party" at a residence around 10:25 a.m. Upon their arrival, officers "confirmed the passing of a 12-year-old female resident of this address." "The cause of death was not immediately apparent," the release stated.
