Michael Loccisano / WireImage The 38-year-old star shared the anecdote during a recent episode of his Podcrushed podcast, after guest Rachel Bilson shared one of her most embarrassing stories. Speaking with Penn's co-hosts Nava Kavelin and Sophie Ansari, Rachel recalled being left mortified when she realized that her tampon string was coming out of her shorts at Six Flags when she was younger. Podcrushed / Via youtube.com "I remember going with my boyfriend at the time, and our friends, wearing very short shorts. Very short shorts. Guess what doesn't stay hidden when you wear short shorts? Tampon strings," Rachel began."It was, like, hanging out of my shorts," she continued. "But now I think back, you get older, and you're like: 'Who cares?' But at the time it was a little embarrassing."When asked how she realized, Rachel said: "It was pointed out. Thankfully, it wasn't pulled out. It was just pointed out." She then noted Penn's silence and laughed: "Penn is sitting there like: 'What just happened?'" Podcrushed / Via youtube.com "Oh no!" Penn exclaimed. "Are you kidding, on this show?!" His co-hosts then pointed out that Penn's wife, Domino Kirke, is a doula who supports people during pregnancy and childbirth. Podcrushed / Via youtube.com "My wife's a doula... I hear about [a lot]," he quipped."I have driven one of her clients," Penn then revealed. "I don't remember the circumstances why... But I drove someone in labor to the hospital." "And I had to do the thing where we're going through the Midtown tunnel, and the traffic was horrible, and I actually put down the window and was like: 'I have a woman laboring in the backseat! Please let me through!'" he shared. "And he was like: 'Dan Humphrey! Anything for you!'" She and Penn already share a four-year-old son, James, as well as Domino's son from a previous relationship, 16-year-old Cassius, and in April, Penn announced that they are expecting identical twin boys. It sounds a bit tacky, but the world needs more good men, so you know, pressure's on us to raise them well."
