After multiple failed attempts, Marvel Studios is finally giving the Fantastic Four a fresh start. Titled The Fantastic Four: First Steps, the movie will release in theaters on July 25, 2025. It marks the beginning of Phase Six in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will bring Marvel's first superhero family into the spotlight. The movie is directed by Matt Shakman, best known for WandaVision. He has also worked on series like Game of Thrones, Fargo, and The Great. Shakman replaced Spider-Man director Jon Watts, who stepped away from the project to take a break from superhero films.
