The Boys might be coming to an end, but Vought Rising is just beginning. Prime Video announced in July 2024 that The Boys universe would be bringing back Jensen Ackles' smart-mouthed Soldier Boy for its own spinoff series after the character was - literally - put on ice. "It's a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought," executive producers Paul Grellong and Eric Kripke said at the time.
