Food influencer Ben Wood has sadly passed away. He was 43. According to the New Haven Register, the social media personality, his wife, Maria Jose "Pepa" Duarte, and his father, Norman Wood, were walking along the beach on Monday when they spotted a young woman struggling in the sea off Algarrobo, Chile. They all rushed into the water with the woman's partner to try to save her from drowning. Tragically, Ben, Maria, and Norman got swept out to sea and did not make it. They all drowned, along with the woman. Her partner reportedly survived after being rescued. How heartbreaking.
