On Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025, Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead in their Los Angeles home, having both suffered apparent stab wounds. Within a matter of hours, their 32-year-old son, Nick, was arrested on suspicion of double murder. He pleaded not guilty during his arraignment. If convicted, he could face life in prison without parole or the death penalty.
