Hannah Dodd is not shying away from opening up on her preparation to play Francesca Bridgerton. She is acknowledging the softer and more introspective arc of the character. Unlike some of the show's more dramatic love stories, Francesca's journey unfolds gently, in what Dodd fondly describes as "baby steps." She noted, "What is really nice about Francesca is that she is really on that journey. She has always been on her own journey. There isn't a big jump each time. It is really nice to get to sit with a character as she takes these baby steps.
