It's going to take a LOT more than a public apology for Kris Jenner to forgive her former son-in-law. Everyone's favorite Momager has reportedly gone protective momma bear mode in the wake of Kanye West's apology. ICYMI, the disgraced rapper took out a full-page ad in the Wall Street Journal in January to acknowledge his battle with bipolar disorder, which he has denied in the past, and apologized for his recent "manic episode that destroyed my life." Notably, he walked back his shocking antisemitic behavior, claiming he "love[s] Jewish people," and seemingly acknowledged the hurt he has caused ex-wife Kim Kardashian: "I lost touch with reality. Things got worse the longer I ignored the problem. I said and did things I deeply regret. Some of the people I love the most, I treated the worst." You can read his full apology HERE. The jury is out on whether fans forgive him, with many expressing on social media a desire to see action behind his words. But someone not so keen on letting water be under the bridge? Kris Jenner. But it's no secret among Kris' friends that she doesn't believe a word of this apology tour." The insider continued: "She's a total mama bear and she hasn't forgotten the hell Kanye has put her daughter through, or the way his behavior has affected the whole family, herself included, over the years. It's not just the offensive comments, it's the constant chaos he's caused that Kim still has to deal with to this day." Last year, Kim considered petitioning for full custody of her and Ye's four children North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 6, amid his mental health crisis. The insider continued: "Kris just can't forgive him and certainly not just because he makes a public apology. She would love for Kanye to get better and for this to be the start of him taking a new path, but at this point, it's hard to take him at his word. He's apologized plenty of times before." Kris is reportedly raising an eyebrow over the sincerity of Kanye's apology as it came ahead of his latest album release: "It doesn't help his case that he's got a new album coming out soon. Naturally, people are going to be suspicious about how sincere this is and what his motives really are. Kris hopes for Kanye's sake that he's being genuine, but he's not changing her mind.
