Inaugural Entertainment has acquired domestic distribution rights to writer-director Guy Moshe's Hotel Tehran and is planning a wide theatrical release for later this year, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. Neeson, Levi and Quincy Isaiah lead the cast that also includes Wes Chatham, Jake Choi, Augusto Augilera, Grant Harvey, Elnaaz Norouzi, Navid Negahban, Lara Wolf, Annet Mahendru and Titus Welliver. Moshe helmed the film from a script he co-wrote with Mark Bacci and Ron Hutchinson. The project originated with an idea from former CIA special operations group officer Bazzel Baz. Astral Future produced Hotel Tehran with Latigo Films and Dreamtime Films, in association with Oakhurst Entertainment, BondIt Media Capital, Eyevox Entertainment, Blue Rider Media and Thomasville Pictures. Neeson can currently be seen alongside Joe Keery in the feature Cold Storage and leads Amazon MGM Studios' 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank, set for release in April. Levi starred in the 2025 releases Sarah's Oil and Not Without Hope. "We're thrilled to bring Hotel Tehran to audiences nationwide," says Inaugural Entertainment founder Kevin Weisberg. Adds Moshe, "Hotel Tehran is at once an exciting ride as well as a reflection about loyalty, redemption and the human cost of conflict. While the film is a work of fiction, much of my own life and experiences informed the story, and I couldn't have asked for a more committed group of actors and department heads to bring this vision to life. Inaugural fully supported our vision, and I am stoked with their release plan for it. We all believe Hotel Tehran will make for a great theatrical experience." In his own statement, producer Matthew Zamias says, "From day one, we set out to create a nuanced, character-driven thriller with global scope. Inaugural Entertainment is the perfect partner to launch this film theatrically and position it for a major impact domestically." Zamias, Moshe and David Lipper serve as producers, while additional producers include Robert A. Daly Jr., Wendy Sweetmore, Marina Grasic, Justin Oberman, Shalom Eisenbach and Ryan Winterstern.
