Katherine Short was reportedly found dead behind a locked bedroom door with a suicide note and a gun nearby. According to law enforcement sources, the 42-year-old daughter of actor and comedian Martin Short, 75, was discovered on 23 February at about 6pm local time at her home after a friend contacted authorities because she had not been heard from in 24 hours.
