Shia LaBeouf wanted to get out of the country after his arrest! As Perezcious readers know, the actor was taken into custody on two counts of simple battery after getting into a bar fight during Mardi Gras celebrations last week. He appeared in court on Thursday and was ordered to pay a $100,000 bond, after previously being let go without having to pay anything - and a big reason was that the judge was horrified after learning of the homophobic slurs Shia was caught saying. He was also ordered to attend mandatory rehab and participate in a drug-testing program. He paid the bond and is expected to return to court on March 19. However, between then and now, he was hoping to jet across the pond! Related: Man Arrested Outside Nancy Guthrie's Home Per TMZ on Friday, The Peanut Butter Falcon star filed docs earlier this week requesting permission to leave the Louisiana jurisdiction from March 1 to March 8 - so he could go watch his dad, Jeffrey, get baptized in Rome, Italy! He argued it'd be totally fine since he does not have any scheduled court appearances during those days. His lawyers even said he'd be willing to share the address of where he'd be staying should there be any issues. Shia's been chatting about his spirituality amid his partying, and now it seems like religion's a big part of his family life right now, too. But no matter how much he's praying to a higher power, he won't be getting on that airplane. On Thursday, a judge rejected the request! It was a nice try, but it doesn't sound like he'll be going anywhere until this legal matter is over. Thoughts?? Are U surprised he tried to travel right now?
