One week after Eric Dane passed away following a battle with ALS, Grey's Anatomy took a moment at the end of Thursday night's episode to say goodbye to the beloved McSteamy one last time. While a cover of the song Chasing Cars played in the background, they had a minute-long montage of Eric as Dr. Mark Sloan. It begins when we are all first introduced to him in 2006 and continues until he returned as a guest for Season 17 in 2021.
