Hilary Duff is dialing it back to the early 00s! We're sure you know all about the Lizzie McGuire's star infamous feud with her "childhood nemesis" Lindsay Lohan. Back in 2003, around the premiere of Lindsay's movie Freaky Friday, and the girls' big spat over their shared romance Aaron Carter, history was made. While LiLo was soaking up the red carpet of her big film, here came Hilary to stir up some trouble! Yep. Right as Lindsay and Hilary were both fighting over the Aaron's Party singer, she said on the Call Her Daddy podcast Wednesday that she INTENTIONALLY crashed the red carpet! The 38-year-old actress confessed: "I think absolutely yes [it was intentional]. I was a teenager. Chad Michael Murray invited me. I don't wanna start any more stuff, But, like, he was like, 'You should come with me.' And I was like, 'Mhmm. Probably I should'." Ha! When host Alex Cooper asked if Lindsay was surprised about Hilary's appearance, she said "no" - but her publicist might've been: "I mean, that was, like, my childhood nemesis. I'm sure my publicist will be like, what the f**k are you doing?" All that drama is gone now, though, per the actress: "But now it's so many years later. Like, who cares? It does not matter." And in even better news: Lindsay and Hilary made up! The Cheaper by the Dozen star revealed: "Lindsay came up to me at a club once and was like, 'Are we good?' And I was like, 'We're good.' She was like, 'Let's take a shot.' I'm like, 'Okay.' It was amazing," Aww! We love a good ending. She did admit that most of the turmoil between herself and the Mean Girls star was because of their mutual ex, though: "This is where all this stuff started. There was no social media to be like, who was dating who? You just take people's word for it and then people get mad at you. I mean if you're, like, Lindsay Lohan or me, he's, like, probably dating both of us, like, you know what I mean?" Sadly, Aaron passed away in 2022 after his struggles with addiction, so he's not around to hear this. But it's clear he was SUCH an important part of both girls' teen years.
