While recent rumours suggested that Rohit Shetty's upcoming Golmaal 5 might be inspired by the original film, he quickly dismissed those reports as factually incorrect, misleading, and completely untrue. Now, it is confirmed that the project is officially in the works under Deepak Mukut, who holds the rights to the original Amitabh Bachchan and Shashi Kapoor-starrer.
