A neighbor of Savannah Guthrie's mom claims she observed a man in their community weeks before Nancy Guthrie disappeared. "He didn't have your typical walking gear on, and he had his hat pulled really far over his eyes," Aldine Meister, who lives in Catalina Foothills, told Fox News Digital on Wednesday, February 25, of the alleged man. Meister claimed to have seen the man walking close to an intersection leading to Nancy's home. She alleged that she had never seen him before or after that one incident. "He was kind of younger, and he just didn't look like he was going out for a walk," she claimed. "He just didn't fit." FBI Investigating Footage of Possible Intruder Near Nancy Guthrie's Home While Meister told her husband about the man, she did not report his appearance to authorities at the time. Meister has since alerted police to what she says she saw, but she could not provide any video or photographs of the alleged individual to the detectives. Meister shared that she was unsure what day she saw the man, but noted she was certain it was after January 8. (Authorities have urged neighbors to check any home security videos they may have for any footage on January 11 and between January 1 and February 2.) "It could have been the 11th," Meister said, noting that she plans to increase security around her home. News broke on February 1 that Nancy was reported missing by a family member who called 911. She was last seen one day prior while with daughter Annie Guthrie. (Nancy shared daughters Savannah and Annie and son Camron Guthrie with late husband Charles Guthrie, who died in 1988 after a heart attack.) FBI Shares Video of Potential Suspect at Savannah Guthrie's Mom's Home In the weeks since Nancy's disappearance, Savannah has been absent from the Today show but has released several social media statements alongside her siblings. On Tuesday, February 24, Savannah shared that the reward for Nancy's return has been raised to $1 million. "Coming on to say it is day 24 since our mom was taken in the dark of night from her bed, and every hour and minute and second and every long night has been agony since then, of worrying about her and fearing for her, aching for her, and most of all, just missing her, missing her," Savannah said in her emotional video. "We know that millions of you have been praying. So many people have been praying of every faith and no faith at all, praying for her return, and we feel those prayers. Please keep praying without ceasing. We still believe. We still believe in a miracle." She continued, "We also know that she may be lost. She may already be gone. She may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves and is dancing in heaven with her mom and her dad and with her beloved brother, Pierce, and with our daddy, the if this is what is to be, then we will accept it. But we need to know where she is. We need her to come home." In the caption of Savannah's post, she wrote, "Someone knows how to find our mom and bring her home." Savannah also shared the phone number for the FBI's tip line and claimed that callers "can remain anonymous" or "find a way to reach out to me."
