Robert Cosby Jr., the son of Bravo star Mary Cosby, has died. According to a report published on Wednesday by TMZ, the son of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City mainstay passed away on Monday evening in Utah. He was just 23 years old. So, so sad. Per that news outlet, cops in Salt Lake City were called to a residence there on Monday night for what is being described by insiders as a "full arrest/medical emergency." Both the fire department and paramedics were dispatched for the call, which the news outlet claims was reported at the time as a possible overdose. Oh, no. Law enforcement has also initiated a death investigation that'll try to get to the bottom of what happened, per the news outlet. Mary and Robert's father, Robert Cosby Sr., released a statement to TMZ on Wednesday about it, too. They said: "Our beloved son Robert Jr. has been called home to the Lord. Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God's promise and in knowing he is finally at peace. We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow." As RHOSLC viewers will recall, Robert appeared on the show several times in the past. Notably, the show's fourth season included a storyline on how Mary learned late about Robert's then-secret marriage to Alexiana Smokoff. In turn, Robert and Alexiana's alleged drug addiction battles were brought up at times on the show, as well. Alexiana filed for divorce from Robert just a few months ago. And the man battled several legal issues in the past, too - including an arrest last September on allegations of trespassing and assault. He'd been previously arrested for DUI back in 2022, pled guilty in that case, and served some prison time. Obviously, all that pales in comparison to his tragic death. He was so, so young - and he had so much life left to live. We send our condolences to Mary, Robert Sr., and everyone else who loved and cared for Robert Jr. during his too-short life. R.I.P.
