Watch: Travis Kelce Shares "Best" Memory With Taylor Swift Over NFL OffseasonAndy Reid already has his love story in mind. The Kansas City Chiefs coach recently revealed which anecdote about Travis Kelce he'd share at his longtime player's future-potential-nuptials to girlfriend Taylor Swift. "Well, there are a few I can't tell," he joked during an Aug. 7 appearance on Kansas City sports radio's 96.5 The Fan with Fescoe and Dusty. "I mean he's done so many good things-all the things he does off the field people don't know about, just helping people out. He's got a big heart that way. I appreciate that the most." One thing Andy wants to make clear, however, is that his history with Taylor-as well as parents Andrea Swift and Scott Swift-actually predates her introduction to Travis. "I knew her before he knew her," he explained. "My family has been a big fan of hers, and we know her father and mother and that whole deal from the Philadelphia area. And her dad's a huge football fan, so we hit it off with him."readTravis Kelce Shares "Best" Memory With Taylor Swift Over NFL OffseasonIn fact, the football coach had a front seat view to Taylor's rise to the top. "Then she became this famous person," Andy added. "Arguably the most famous woman in the world since probably the Queen passed away. But she sure handles it the right way, and that's the part I appreciate the most."Patrick Smith/Getty Images & Ed Zurga/Getty ImagesPlus, Andy didn't fumble when it came to sharing how much he appreciates the way the couple has helped bring newer audiences to the sport. "I think it's great," the 67-year-old said. "Obviously, women and girls are looking at the game a little more. Look at flag football now-we're talking about Olympic sports, we're talking about college sports. Girls are having an opportunity to play the game and they're loving it. Not that it was all tied into [Taylor], but she had a big part of that. And the NFL has bought into that, too." He continued. "So I think it's a beautiful thing all around. Like I said the thing I appreciate most is how she handles it, how Trav handles it. They just do it the right way, and they're not a distraction by any means."PTR/Star Max/GC ImagesAnd on which of Taylor's lengthy discography is his favorite? "I do have the Red album," he said. "I do have that one." But this is not the first time Andy has praised Taylor for the way she's seamlessly blended into the Kansas City team's fabric. "She's part of the team," Andy affirmed to NFL on NBC in February. "Like the other girlfriends and wives, they're part of it. That's all part of the process." The star tight end's interest in Taylor was first revealed by one of his teammates in a TikTok video posted by the Chiefs in August 2023 (which, in hindsight, was when the pair were secretly dating). Before Travis could answer the prompt of who his celebrity crush was, wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling spilled, "Taylor Swift!" Travis smiled at the camera before holding his finger up to his mustache, saying, "Alright now!" Plus, Travis was just one of many celebs to attend Taylor's record-breaking Eras Tour even before they kicked off their yearlong romance. But more on that enchanting moment in a bit...

She is typically attracted to creative types, including actors (Joe Alwyn, Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner and Tom Hiddleston) and musicians (Calvin Harris, John Mayer, Harry Styles and, most recently, Matty Healy). But perhaps that's why her romance with the lighthearted and cheeky athlete-who signed an updated two-year deal with the Chiefs worth $34.25 million in 2024-feels like such a refreshing option for Taylor after her six-year uber-private relationship with Joe came to an end in April 2023. Travis publicly aired his failed attempt to shoot his shot and talk to Taylor when he attended the Kansas City stop on her Eras Tour July 7, 2023. As it turns out, he had a special gift for her: A friendship bracelet bearing his "number" that he hoped to give Taylor. (He wouldn't definitely say if it was his
