The Carradine family is Hollywood royalty. Patriarch John Carradine - the son of the 18th century Christian movement minister Beverly Carradine - kicked off the family's acting dynasty in the 1900s. His children eventually followed in their father's footsteps. Several of the Carradine brothers are known by name, with one of the more famous members (especially among a group of millennial women) being the late Robert Carradine. Robert played Sam McGuire, Lizzie's dad, on the Disney Channel show Lizzie McGuire from 2001 to 2004. David also experienced a series of legal troubles over the years, including two arrests for driving under the influence in 1984 and 1989.
