The Real L Word's Francine Beppu has died at just 43. In a statement to TMZ, the reality star's family announced her passing, saying: "It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved Francine "Naoko" Beppu. The outpouring of care and concern from her friends and colleagues everywhere is a testament to the tremendous impact she had on everyone around her. We are deeply grateful to know how cherished she was and how brightly she will continue to shine through all who knew her." The statement continued, with the family asking for privacy as they make final arrangements: "The Beppu family appreciates the many gestures of your love for Francine and kindly ask for privacy at this time, as together we navigate this unimaginable loss and honor her memory. Plans for a celebration of life, along with ways to offer your love and support, will be shared when we are ready. Until then, thank you for holding our family in your thoughts and for carrying Francine's radiant light forward." The family also told the outlet Francine passed on February 17 in her home in Honolulu. No cause of death has been revealed. So sad. Francine was known for her time on Showtime's series The Real L Word, which followed the stories of queer women living in El Lay. She was far too young to be taken from the world. So heartbreaking.
