Watch: Why Goldie Hawn's Granddaughter Rio Has Been Nicknamed "Mini Goldie"Goldie Hawn's family dynasty could be gaining a spritely new member. The Oscar winner's longtime partner Kurt Russell revealed that their 12-year-old granddaughter Rio Hudson-whose parents are Oliver Hudson and Erinn Bartlett-might be her next descendant to pursue a career in Hollywood. "Rio is showing some serious chops with dancing ability," the 74-year-old exclusively told E! News during a recent interview with son Wyatt Russell. "There's something about her. A lot of people call her 'Mini Goldie.'" But Kurt-who stars alongside Wyatt in season two of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, premiering Feb. 27 on Apple TV-was quick to note that the preteen's passion for the arts was also inherited from her mom, adding, "Erinn was an actress when she met Oliver." Of course, Rio wouldn't be the first of Kurt and Goldie's grandkids to break into the family business, with her brothers Wilder Hudson, 18, and Bodhi Hudson, 15, as well as cousin Ryder Robinson, 22-the eldest son of Kate Hudson-already snagging acting work.readShakira's Mini-Me Sons Join Her For "Magical" Matching Moment Onstage"It's an interesting family in that regard," Kurt continued. "Nobody really intentionally looks at acting as something that must be, 'We must follow this tradition.' There's nobody doing that. Whether it strikes you or not, it strikes a lot of us."Jamie McCarthy/Getty ImagesHowever, Wyatt, 39, observed that the acting bug seemingly skipped his older brother Boston Russell-whom Kurt shares with ex-wife Season Hubley-despite being related to so many thespians. "Boston wants nothing to do with anything," he said of the 46-year-old, joking that because of his brother's ambivalence towards the craft, "He'd be the best." In fact, Kurt argued that Boston's choice not to become an actor gave him a key role among his relatives, quipping, "He's the family therapist."Monarch: Legacy of Monsters premieres Feb. 27 on Apple TV, with new episodes debuting every Friday.
