Nick Reiner has pleaded not guilty! Following the killings of Rob and Michele Reiner, their son appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court for his arraignment on Monday with Judge Theresa McGonigle. He is facing two counts of first-degree murder with special circumstances, including the use of a knife, and he pleaded not guilty to both counts. Per Us Weekly, he wore a brown jumpsuit with a shaved head and facial hair for the hearing, smiling briefly when approached by his lawyer. He was joined in court by his public defender, Kimberly Greene, who took over the case in January after Nick's previous attorney, Alan Jackson, shockingly quit. During the arraignment, via People, prosecutors revealed that they are still waiting for the completed autopsies of the deceased couple. Despite this, prosecutors believe Nick fatally stabbed his parents inside their home before fleeing.
