Us Weekly can confirm that McPhee filed a property petition in Los Angeles on February 11, following Ransone's death on December 19, 2025, at age 46. McPhee, who married the actor in 2017, noted in the court filing obtained by Us on Thursday, February 19, that she is the surviving spouse of Ransone. She also listed that the late star is survived by their children, his heirs, John "Jack," and Violet, born in 2019 and 2021, respectively.
