The Golden Bachelorette couple Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple are sharing an update on their wedding plans. Vassos, 63, and Chapple, 62, answered a fan's question about when they plan to tie the knot during a Q&A via Instagram on Monday, February 16. "We get that [question] all the time," Chapple said. "In 2025, Joan had a big wedding for her oldest son, Nick. And then she's got another one getting married this year, so we've elected to not compete with them. Let them have their year." The insurance executive teased, "You might look for something in 2027." Golden Bachelorette Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple's Relationship Timeline Joan - who shares sons Nicholas, 36, and Luke, 29, and daughters Erica, 33, and Allison, 30, with late husband John Vassos - agreed, telling her fiancé, "Yeah, '27. Hopefully, nobody else will get married, but I think you have a son who possibly could, so we'll see!" Chock shares daughter Taylor and son Tyler, who are both in their twenties, with ex-wife Heather Chapple. "We have grown kids and they just happen to be falling into that part of their lives too," Joan continued. "We'll get married sometime when our kids aren't getting married." Joan and Chock found love during the inaugural season of ABC's The Golden Bachelorette in 2024. The pair got engaged during the finale, though they have taken their time with wedding plans and moving in together. Joan exclusively told Us Weekly in December 2025 that she was moving away from her home state of Maryland to live in NYC with Chock for a few weeks. Jesse Grant/Getty Images for iHeartRadio "We had no idea how hard it was to rent a place in New York and how busy we were going to be," Joan said of finding a permanent home with Chock, who is from Kansas. "We decided that we just wanted to be there to start the whole month of December because it's just so magical in New York City." Joan and Chock addressed their current living situation in their Q&A, revealing that they will "one day" live together. "We haven't figured out the city yet," Joan said. Chock added, "At some point, we do [want to live together]. We're traveling all the time so it's gonna come... the more we travel, the more we go, 'Oh, we like this.'" Golden Bachelorette Joan Wants Critics to Let Her and Chock Have 'Fun' As for what their living situation might look like in the future, Joan said, "When I think about this question, I think it probably won't be where I live. It probably won't be where [Chock lives]. I think we will probably keep our houses, and we'll have a love shack someplace." In a separate interview with Us in December 2025, Joan admitted that she felt "pressure" from fans for her relationship with Chock to succeed. "If something happened with us, which nothing is going to happen, but if something did, it would be hard on the Golden franchise," she said at the time. "I'm not sure if I ever said this to anybody, but I felt a lot of pressure to be successful [as the Golden Bachelorette] because [The Golden Bachelor season 1's Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist] had just broken up right before I started filming, like, within months. And I felt a lot of pressure that if I wasn't successful, if I didn't find somebody, that it would be the end of it. I felt super responsible. I got lucky."
