King Charles has made a statement on his brother's arrest. In case you didn't hear, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, was arrested on his birthday Thursday. His detainment was on the grounds of suspicion of misconduct in public office. This all comes after his ties to Jeffrey Epstein were made public, and all the files that have come out tying him to some pretty disturbing behavior. From pictures to emails, it's been a LOT to stomach... On Thursday afternoon local time, Buckingham Palace released a statement from the King regarding his brother's arrest. In the write-up, the 77-year-old said: "I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office. What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities." He continued on, reiterating his past points of being on the side of justice: "In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation. Let me state clearly: the law must take its course. As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Right now, it's not expected for Prince William and Princess Catherine to release a statement on Andrew's arrest, but according to People, they wholeheartedly side with the King and agree with what he said.
