In a police report obtained by People on Wednesday, February 18, the New York Police Department confirmed that investigators found a "suicidal note" in the bedroom of Burrell's Brooklyn home. Investigators also uncovered "suicidal" journal entries on a bed in the same room. The report claimed that a redacted person "married to Anne" had "noticed that the bed was made in their room which was not normal" in the morning of June 17, 2025.
