The bullet then damaged the artery that supplies blood to the arm, elbow, forearm, and hand. How awful... As we previously reported, Peter's manager, Gregg Edwards, confirmed The Mask star was found dead in his NYC apartment in December after a neighbor heard music coming from his apartment for over 24 hours - the same day he was supposed to undergo an operation to remove a benign tumor near his lung. Police conducted a welfare check and found him unresponsive. Peter was declared dead at the scene. A neighbor told the New York Daily News that when cops came inside the apartment, "Peter was lying on the floor, face down, facial injury, blood everywhere..." There was also reportedly a handwritten note that said "I'm still a Westie," a reference to a 1970s Irish-American gang in Hell's Kitchen. Despite the odd message, police insisted no foul play was suspected. Now, we know what happened to him. So sad. Reactions, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments (below).
